Megan Fitzpatrick started in Sylvania Schools in 2016 as the orchestra director at Southview and Timberstone. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude as a double major on violin and french horn. She studied with Michael Davis while at OSU and also, while growing up, studied with Vasile Beluska at Bowling Green State University. Megan has played the violin since the age of seven and now performs professionally with the Asteria String Quartet. She enjoys playing at venues around the area with her country band North of Nashville, and also does studio recording work for various artists around the US. Her awards include 2021 Sylvania Schools Teacher of the Year, the ESC I Make a Difference award, and the BCAN Classroom Hero award. Megan is a Southview graduate and now resides in Sylvania with her husband and three children, Jack, Ruby, and Delilah.

Sam Olrich
Choirs and Orchestra
Ms Olrich is a graduate of Sylvania Schools and received her Bachelors of Music Education from Bowling Green State University. Since graduating from BGSU, Ms Olrich has performed with local jazz groups and competitive Pop A Cappella ensembles. She currently performs with the Toledo Masterworks Chorale and occasionally a teacher-based quartet named Boots&Cats. In her free time, Ms Olrich enjoys arranging music and quilting blankets. Ms Olrich has worked in Sylvania Schools since 2017.
