Orchestra Officers

President

• Seek public relations and outreach opportunities (i.e. educational engagement with students, parents and the local community, etc.).

• Help plan and lead fundraising efforts for the student council.

• Help plan and conduct monthly council meetings.

• Help  organize activities and events for the orchestra.

Vice-President

• Assist the president with public relations and outreach opportunities.

• Help plan and lead fundraising efforts for the student council.

Secretary

• Write monthly meeting agendas by consulting with other officers.

• Must be present at every management team meeting to document the meeting minutes.

• Attend monthly booster meeting and report back to the orchestra officers.

• The Secretary will keep minutes of all meetings of the Board of Directors and make them available to orchestra reps.

• Email reminders, logistical information, and notifications to orchestra students.

• Create a yearly events calendar by consulting with other officers.

• Corporate and private donor correspondence.

Treasurer

• Document and provide parent advisor fundraising donations for deposit.

• Assist with fundraising efforts.

• Plan an annual budget for the student council.

• Balance the budget for the student council.

​

Librarians

• Work together with each other to stay in contact with TAs .

• Help organize the orchestra files.

• Keep track of the music within the orchestra library.

• File and make copies of music when needed .

​

Academy Rep

• Collect feedback and concerns from the academy orchestra to present to the other officers at monthly meetings.

• Report back to the academy orchestra after monthly meetings are held.  

​

Chamber Rep

• Collect feedback and concerns from the chamber orchestra to present to the other officers at monthly meetings.

• Report back to the chamber orchestra after monthly meetings are held.

Concert Rep

• Collect feedback and concerns from the concert orchestra to present to the other officers at monthly meetings.

• Report back to the concert orchestra after monthly meetings are held.
